    Hello everyone!!! Welcome to the first post on Environment Kids! I find that the world realizes the environmental crisis that are in but we don't do anything about it. Environmental Kids is meant to show kids that we need to protect wildlife because it is important. So every week I will research a topic and share with you why it is important to protect that topic this way we know why we need to fight for the environment. Welcome Back to Environment Kids! This week we are talking about the desert! You might think that the desert is bland and does't provide anything, but really it provides more than you think. It gives us medicine, water and even provides shelter for animals.                                                                     Medecine             Clearly, the desert must provide some form of medicine or else this category wouldn't exist.  Anyway... three of the most popular medicines that come from the desert are Aloe Vera (to treat burns), the Desert Willow (for pain),  and Agave (an antibiotic).                   Hey everyone! Sorry for the delay in this weeks post! As you may have heard last week in Ohio we had  a tornado. So I thought that this week I would talk about tornadoes. We will talk about how they are made, how much destruction they cause and how dangerous they are.                              Tornadoes are formed from powerful thunderstorms, particularly those known as supercells. These thunderstorms develop when warm, humid air from the ground rises and meets cooler, drier air in the atmosphere. This collision creates instability and can lead to the formation of a rotating updraft, known as a mesocyclone.
